All characters come from a part of the author, even if we don’t like that part very much.
Christmas Day 1997. A week before my fifteenth birthday and I am riding around in the back of a blue Ford Cortina. The guy who is driving will be dead in less than a month. Of course I don’t know that now, but I find out. Actually I’m there when it happens, but a month is practically forever away.
