The day Eco first laid eyes on Rose Baines was the day she discovered her family’s savage butchery at the hands of her mad, incestuous father.
“I saw you leave the house that day, Rose. That terrible day you discovered your family butchered. I saw you…”
Eco, realizing he has fallen in love with her, pens a confession documenting all of his sins committed in the course of his immortal existence. His one request is that Rose reads his confession.
From Ancient Egyptian vampire cults to Roman vampire brothels to The Dark Ages, between The Crusades and The Black Death of 1348, to his meeting with the child murderer and Satanist Gilles de Rais, and concluding with his wicked affair with the Blood Countess herself, Erzebat Bathory, the Unholy Testament will take you through historical times. The pages are filled with debauchery, vice and murder – yet there is also something Eco swears to be love.

How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
The main protagonist is Eco, son of a fallen angel (who is himself, a vampire) first appears in book 1, The House on Blackstone Moor.
Convinced he has fallen in love, he has written a confession of all of his sins committed during the course of his immortal existence.
“I am the demon, Eco. I begin at the beginning, that is, my own beginning. There was hardly a time when the world did not know my name or the nature of my existence. I have been feared, hated and condemned to Hell. Yet, what is Hell to me but another place I call home?”
I turned back to writing some years ago when I was selected by North West Playwrights of England for further development. It was a wonderful experience.
I prefer writing novels and short fiction however. I write all sorts of horror and am widely published in horror anthologies.
My longer fiction is historically based. I love writing about Gothic Vampires. Actually, I love all things Gothic especially horror fiction that’s why I write it.
I have one series out, The Blackstone Vampires, darkest horror and romance combined. At the moment, I’m just finishing up the first book in a brand new series.
Over the Christmas Holidays, I accepted a challenge to write one short story a week and am not only keeping up with it, but having fun!
