What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
This is a follow up to my first published book "Oh what a Night". I wanted to write more on the friendships and how the dynamics change when relationships form outside of those friendships.
A man bound by chains. A woman burdened by regret. Will love set this tortured pair free?
In this nightmarish future where women own men, Bret Masters refuses to serve anyone. But after spending years evading slavers in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest, he’s furious when he’s finally caught and sold. So, although his mistress has a pretty face and deliciously tempting curves, he vows to escape.
Angel Aldridge hides her pain behind fences as sturdy and vast as her ranch. And even though her newly acquired slave is a ruggedly handsome cowboy, she’s not about to let her fantasies endanger the people she swore to protect. But between her always-watching enemies and her wounded heart, she’s reluctant to admit she may need him in more ways than one…
As the two toil side by side, Bret is surprised to discover Angel’s vulnerability and her compassionate nature. And the more time they spend together, the harder she finds it to resist her feelings and to soothe her lonely soul. But when they’re stranded alone together, the barriers between mistress and slave may not be strong enough to withstand their red-hot attraction.
Can Bret and Angel overcome their fears to sow the seeds of lasting love?
Masters’ Mistress is the steamy first book in The Angel Eyes futuristic dystopian cowboy romance series. If you like complex characters, gritty western settings, and slow-burning desires, then you’ll adore this enthralling story.
Consider the role of strangers in our lives. An unknown postman in Virginia hides a bag of mail one day. His simple action set in motion untold consequences for many others—strangers—all over the country. How many bridges were burned in that forgotten mail pouch?
Sara Richards’s world is rocked when three love letters from 1970 are delivered decades late. The letters were written by Paul Steinert, a young sailor who took her innocence with whispered words of love and promises of forever before leaving for Vietnam. Sara is left behind, broken hearted and secretly pregnant, yearning for letters she never received.
Then Paul died.
Now, years later, she discovers the betrayal wasn’t Paul’s, when her mother confesses to a sin that changed their lives forever. How can Sara reveal to Paul’s parents that they have a granddaughter they’ve missed the chance to know? Even worse, how will she find the words to tell her daughter that she’s lived her life in the shadow of a lie?
Picking her way through the minefields of secrets, distrust, and betrayal, Sara finds that putting her life together again while crossing burning bridges will be the hardest thing she’s ever done.
Burning Bridges is a love story begun in Virginia Beach as the Vietnam War is winding down—though no one knew that at the time—and ending in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, where two soul mates find each other again. Do they stay together? I’ve already said it’s a love story, but sometimes, even true love has a way of not quite lasting.
Kay was independent and strong-willed. She was convinced she didn’t need help from anyone, especially not a man. When she found herself about to lose the one thing she wanted most, Kay had no choice but to accept the help that was offered to her.
David wasn’t the kind of man who came to the rescue of a damsel in distress. But when Kay got herself into trouble, he couldn’t help but come to her aid. Now his feelings for this woman were clouding his judgment, and that could end up being deadly for them both.

My inspiration for this book came from the difficult times I faced after my mother passed away.

She wanted to love me, but her family wanted me dead. Born a mafia princess, Kelsie had no idea she’d be crossing names off the Beneventi hit list. With each assassination, she lost a piece of her humanity. She clung to me, daring me to push her away, but I loved her too much to let her go. Love complicated everything, until she realized I was #31 on her list.

Powerful female leads. I wanted to write about a character who stepped out of her box and became a symbol of power in her family.
Tom wants to move their relationship to the next level, but will Jackie’s past get in the way of their future?
Jackie Davis is no stranger to hardship. After a strict upbringing, her parents abandoned her when she got pregnant out of wedlock. Years later, she’s the co-owner of a successful café, mother to a beautiful six-year-old daughter named Abby, and dating a man who makes her heart race. For the first time in a while, she’s actually excited for the holidays.
When Tom Molsem applied as a cook at the local café, he wasn’t looking for a relationship. Haunted by demons from his military service, he was just happy to have a job he could handle. Now he’s the co-owner of that same restaurant and dating a woman who helped lay those ghosts to rest. With the past buried, he wants to build a future with his newfound family.
Tom and Jackie are eager to celebrate Christmas, but when Abby goes missing, the two must band together and discover the true gifts of the season: love, forgiveness, and new beginnings.
As a firefighter, Jaxson Anderson is well acquainted with danger. He’s charged into burning buildings to rescue men and women, young and old. He’s scaled ladders that towered over blistering infernos, and defied blazes that terrified lesser men.
Fire? He understands. Women? Not so much. Now *there’s* some real danger. He should know. He’s been burned before.
He’s not interested in romance, or the perils that come with it. His priority is caring for his two small boys, and making his mark as the new fire chief of Sawyer, but everything changes the day he catches sight of Sugar, the pretty girl who works at the local bakery. Sugar is exactly what he wants: A fun, no-strings distraction. A friends-with-benefits arrangement that won’t break what’s left of his heart.
On the heels of an abusive marriage, Sugar Stonemyer is done with men. But when Jaxson Anderson strolls into the bakery with a very wicked offer, she can’t resist. One look at the fireman, and Sugar knows the Sawyer rumor mills haven’t exaggerated. Jaxson’s tall, dark, and smokin’ hot. He wants an arrangement, nothing more, and that’s perfect.
Or so she thought.
With each slow seduction, Sugar falls a little more. She has only herself to blame. She didn’t want either of them to have feelings, but that’s not how the game is played…
People are never what they seem.
Scai thought she was safe in her little Welsh village—until the people turned on her, threatening to burn her as a witch.
Scai thought that knights in shining armor were handsome young men—until an old man with funny ideas rescued her.
Scai thought magic didn’t exist—until she learned she was born with it.
Scai thought everyone showed their true face—until she saw otherwise.
But Scai is not a witch, despite her magic. Knights come in all ages and you don’t want to mess with one, no matter how old they are. There are people who want all the power they can get, and are willing to kill for it. And sometimes it’s worth it to risk everything you’ve ever known because you can discover amazing things, meet wonderful people, have fantastic adventures, and best of all, learn the Truth.
