What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Accessing the "darker" places in people's minds interests me more than anything. It's so fascinating to see that each of our minds possess these dark corners that seemingly want to come out and be expressed. Or at least researched in more depth!
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
My characters were created when the idea of the book was created. How my characters behave in this book is directly linked to them being in foreign lands, with no real parent constraints to keep them in place. So these characters are into adventure and experimentation. Because the book is based in Miami, Geography also played a role in the characters' personalities. Think sunshine, fun and freedom!
